Heat Transfer Performance of Glazed Units in Dual Airflow Windows

Article Preview

Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to derive a new method to research heat transfer performance of special glazed units in dual airflow windows because of their special structure and function. The equivalent height has been defined to conduct the analysis of this specificity. Two models names ISO and EN have been built and tested by experiment. The results calculated by the models are compared to ensure the conclusions are correct. Meanwhile two models lead to better understanding the rules of heat transfer in a triple glazed unit.
