Research on the Double-Drum Drive Power Balance of the Hemicycle Deep Trough Belt Conveyor

Abstract:

Under the same output torque of the drive system, the imbalanced degree formula of the motor power was inferred, which expressed with elastic deformation, drum diameter and motor external characteristics. The reason and the main influence factors to the motor power imbalance were analysed. The results show that the best choice of belt conveyor on multi-drum drive occasion is steel cord belt, and the first drum diameter should be slightly bigger than the second drum diameter, in order to make sure the distribution of motor power is relatively balanced.
