Elastic Parameters Adjusted in Soil Slope Stability and Displacement Analysis

Article Preview

Abstract:

Soil elastic parameters(E, μ) will change when soil shear strength parameters(c, φ) reduced, so, it is necessary to adjust elastic parameters using strength reduction method for slope stability calculation. The numerical results show that the adjustment of elastic parameters has little effect on stability, but is more obviously on slope displacement. So, it is important to consider elastic adjust when evaluate slope stability based on slope stability.
