Measurement of Shockwave Speed Based on Critically Curved Fiber Loops

Article Preview

Abstract:

A method was proposed to measure shockwave speed from explosion based on critically curved fiber loops, and a device was developed to validate the feasibility of this method. The principle, configuration and validation experiment of the measurement were discussed in detail.50g explosive was ignited and the speed of nearly MPa level shockwave was measured successfully. It is proved that the method and device based on critically curved fiber loops are practical and effective for the shockwave speed measurement.
