Abstract: Abstract: Heavy metal ions have great hazard to human beings. The development of low-cost, mass-produced electrochemical sensors based on screen-printing technology has attracted considerable attention in recent years. In this paper we fabricated the Screen-printed carbon electrodes(SPCE) and realized the simultaneous detection of heavy metal ions(Cu,Pb,Zn) complied with the use of differential pulse anodic stripping voltammeter(DPASV) and optimized the detection conditions. The electrodes had satisfying sensitivity and precision, the detectable concentration reached ppb level

Abstract: The electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) was used to detect multiphase flows in pipelines, fluidization process and combustion phenomena in internal combustion engines, and so on. In the mentioned applications, none of them has equipment or vessel with inner diameter exceeding 1 meter. Nevertheless, there are some of large equipments like blast furnaces, coal bunkers and so on, need to detect its content distribution. These requirements could be met by ECT technology. But there are not any ECT systems can be used to detect content distribution of those large equipments, because the existing system can not measure the capacitance in change which was changed by content distribution. A new method of high AC voltage excitation and C/V circuits which has a higher excitation voltage about 20~50 times than the previous ac-based system, with an 8-electrodes sensor array that is amounted on a 2.5m inner diameter object constructed a High Voltage Electrical Capacitance Tomography (HVECT) system in laboratory. Image reconstruction experiments show that the HVECT is applicable to monitor the content distribution in the future.

Abstract: To solve the problem of conflict confidence in D-S evidence theory, this paper proposed a new method. First a distance function was introduced, then the supporting degree of the evidence by other evidences was calculated, and the BPAs of the evidences were modified by the supporting degree using fuzzy inference theory, and the modified evidences were fused by D-S combination rules. Experiment result showed the effectiveness of the method.

Abstract: The strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) is becoming a commonly used navigation method now for underwater vehicle. But according to its principle, the positioning error of SINS accumulates over time. Therefore, we should use other navigation means to enhance its accuracy, robustness and sustainability. The Doppler velocity log (DVL) is an available and reliable means. By the speed combination, the performance of SINS will be improved significantly. But when the DVL is working in water-track mode or we use relative log, we shouldn’t neglect the influence of ocean current. Together with real-time current estimation, DVL water-track (DVL-WT) assisting SINS is included in the paper. The simulation results show that DVL-WT assisting SINS can provide more accuracy order of magnitude than pure SINS.

Abstract: The need for sensor interoperability has increased tremendously in many large-scale fingerprint applications such as e-commerce, welfare-disbursement and e-education. In this paper, we present fingerprint scaling, an innovative fingerprint system module, which resizes the fingerprint images to solve the problem of sensor interoperability with minimum modification to existing system. In template-based scaling methods, we have developed an estimation method using Delaunay triangulation algorithm. The efficacy of the scaling technique has been assessed by embedding a scaling module into a traditional fingerprint recognition system. Our experiments have shown very positive results. Experimental results indicated that the accuracy and robustness of fingerprint system can be improved effectively by embedding such a scaling module into the traditional framework of fingerprint systems under multi-sensor situation.

Abstract: In order to explore the application of multi-sensor fusion technology in nondestructive testing of agricultural products and develop new detection methods for agriculture, multi-sensor information fusion technology are performed to identify freshness of freshwater fish meat. Different freshness of grass carp specimens were identified by multi-sensor fusion method which three characteristic data that are PH value, conductance and smell were measured, collected, and then fused by fuzzy theory method. During the experiment process the value of the total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N) of standard samples and test samples were measured. The freshness standard was established by the TVB-N value of standard samples. Correctness of the results of multi-sensor data fusion was verified by comparing the TVB-N value of the test samples with the freshness standard. The results show that the freshwater fish meat with different freshness can be identified correctly by multi-sensor data fusion method which is fuzzy theory and the accuracy rate is 94%.

Abstract: The novel scheme of data fusion is a kind of evidence theories based on distance. We calculate the weight coefficients according to the structure of network and distances matrix between points and sensors. The greater the distance is, the smaller the coefficient will be. Experimental results show that, the proposed algorithm works well with high conflicts and fits characteristics of network.

Abstract: A detection system of capacitive sensor is designed and the application of capacitive sensor in measurement of material transportation is discussed. On the basis of measuring the dielectric constant change of the material in conveyor, the system can detect density variation of the material. The signal conditioning circuit of measurement system consists of capacity/voltage conversion circuit, phase shifter and programmable gain amplifier etc. It can reduce the influence of cable’s distributed capacitance and other parasitic capacitance. The results show that the system has high measurement precision of the relative value, and better anti-interference ability.

Abstract: The combination of high conflict evidence is a research focus in belief function theory, this paper analyzes two major solving strategy of the modifying rule and the modifying evidence body, and proposes a new evidence synthesis method by modifying rule. In allusion to the combination of high conflict evidence and focusing downwards problem, the method constructs new global conflict measurement under the framework of conjunction combination, which can solve the illogicality of of Shafer conflict measurement. Then the paper designs the solution of local redistribution of global conflict, through choosing the reasonable proportion coefficient, which can overcome focusing downwards and synthesis convergence problem together. Compared with other methods, the new method is more effective to solve the combination problem of high conflict evidence, and meet the quasi-association, and has the higher value of application.
