Simulation of Planar 2-DOF Manipulator Based on Virtual Reality

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this paper a physical CAD model of plannar 2-DOF manipulator is built in SolidWorks and later translated into Mtalab SimMechanics for simulation purpose. The kinematics of the manipulator is analysised in order to obtain the procedure which is used to drive the joint of the manipulator. Simulation result is obtained and it is very useful for designers to understand and grasp the performances of the manipulator.
