The Research of Instruments for Allocating Cable Fault Based on the Priciple of Sound and Magnetic
Abstract:
The article aimed to research the accurate positioning when high resistance fault happened in cable fault. On the bases of Acoustic magnetic synchronous principle, the research benchmarked three orientation points as references and uses the differences between acoustic wave and magnetic wave to measure the distance between detection point and fault point. At last, used triangulation method to calculate the distance to the fault point based on the differences between acoustic signal and magnetic signal in order to locate the fault point.
