System Development in Integration of DNC-Based Manufacturing Information

Abstract:

DNC is a typical way of integrating manufacturing information. In order to provide information for managers and technicians, this paper firstly researches on manufacturing information integration model based on DNC, and then designs the architecture of the workshop network and the mode of information exchange through Ethernet on analysis of manufacturing information stream. It also presents a method of information acquisition from NC machine. Finally, the validity of the model and network is verified by implementation of the manufacturing information integration system.
