Research and Implementation of an Internet-Based Simulation Platform for Remote Devices Control

Article Preview

Abstract:

Based on the needs of remote control system of equipments for networked manufacturing, a kind of simulation platform of remote control for devices based on Internet is studied in this paper, in which the control signal from the controller to the object controlled and the feedback signal from the sensor to the controller are both transferred via Internet. In this simulation platform, the software by which the function of client-side is accomplished and that of server-side are both designed by the tool of VC++, and the value of control signal is calculated by the tool of MATALB, and the function of data communication is realized by network programming technology of Winsock and interface technology between VC++ and MATLAB, the simulation output is achieved by the MATLAB program in the client-side. The results when the simulation platform is running validate its feasibility and correctness, and it can be widely applied in actual production process monitoring after the practical object is added.
