Application of Variable Structure Control on Muti-Axle Vehicle Steering System

Article Preview

Abstract:

On the basis of multi-axle vehicle 3-DOF dynamic model, and using leaning stiffness of each wheel and external disturbance as uncertainty parameters, variable structure control theory was used to make the actual variable model track the optimal theoretical model primely. The results of the simulation indicate that this method is feasible, and the impact to the system stability from parameters perturbation and external disturbance could be overcome by this control system.
