Research on CNC System of Line Contact Machining

Abstract:

The paper analyses the method of line contact machining which is for side milling. And researches the all-software CNC based on line contact machining which running on Win NT OS. The system controls the side-surface of the cutting tool to process the whole side of work piece at one time. Whats more, the system includes a graphics automatically programming system based on line contact of machining.
