Developing the Coal and Power Pool Project, Structuring Large-Scale Coal Enterprises

Abstract:

The coal and electric power are foundational energy industries in China, which are connected closely with each other. However there are contradictions and disputes between the two. To implement the coal and power pool project (CPPP) is an effective way to solve the problem. In accordance with the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the coal industry will develop in large-scale, collectivized and modern direction. CPPP is one focus of the large modern coal enterprises’ steady construction, and makes much sense for coal enterprises, power companies and the overall energy situation in China. This article expounds the reasons, modes and significance of CPPP, and offers some relevant suggestions.
