Strategies for the Design of Ice and Snow Landscape of Urban Residential District in the Cold Regions

Abstract:

This paper proposes the problems of existing landscape design of urban residential district in the cold regions, and analyses the main reasons for the formation of these problems. Based on this, and according to analysis on the specific features of the ice and snow art in terms of residential landscape, this paper discusses strategies for the landscape design of urban residential district according to the regional culture context, environmental status and climate features. It is expected to provide useful reference for the improvement of the landscape design of urban residential district in the cold regions.
