Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis for Wall-Beam Structure

Article Preview

Abstract:

Wall-beam is widely applied to civil engineering structure. By using of the finite element method, the nonlinear finite element analysis is taken on to get the force transfer mechanism of wall-beam, strain distribution of wall-beam and prestressed wall-beam is compared. The study on strain distribution of different depth-span ratio is carried on. The conclusion in the paper is the academic support for crack resistance of wall-beam.
