Abstract: The isolation of large-span Steel Truss Roof structure is developed on the basis of base isolation. The isolation of large-span Steel Truss Roof structure is to limit the transmission of wind load effect to the substructure. Based on the engineering background, we mainly discuss using rubber bearing isolation structure wind load effects. This paper will explains and demonstrates the isolation mechanism of Large-span Steel Truss Structure, and than test and verify isolation effect by Calculating through the analysis of wind tunnel tests conducted on the Yancheng financial services center, which the steel truss roof isolation bearings for wind load effect isolation effect.

Abstract: Aiming at rapid-repair engineering of airport cement concrete pavement, this paper chooses rapid-hardening sulphoaluminate cement to prepare rapid-hardening sulphoaluminate concrete (RSC) and evaluate its technology performance referring to test methods of Portland cement concrete. The testing results show that RSC possesses excellent workability, good mechanical properties along with abrasion resistance, little shrinkage, and strong bonding with old pavement, which can well meets the requirements of pavement rapid restoration under the condition of not closing airport.

Abstract: Through studying cracks and dewing problems of the energy-saving composite thermal insulation wall, we hope to attract enough attention to the construction technology and quality inspection, strengthen quality management and guarantee the engineering quality. This article has carried on the reason analysis and summarized the project construction commonly used methods from wall stiffness, indoor and outdoor temperature differences, materials and construction technology. The control problems of crack and dewing of energy-saving composite thermal insulation wall has more value in practice.

Abstract: A large number of buildings with large-span or complex-shape have come to the fore in recent years. To these structures, wind load tends to be control load in the structural design. Shape coefficient of wind load which Chinese load code for the design of building structures can provide is extremely limited due to complex-shape of long-span space structures, therefore carrying our related study is of great practical significance. Yancheng Financial Center model is established in this paper based on ETABS software. The acquired date in the use of wind tunnel test is to simulate wind load which is on the structure and to analysis stress distribution of critical element in order to ensure safety and applicability of structures. This paper mainly covers wind tunnel test, equivalent static wind load, and wind-induced response, etc.

Abstract: A simplified method using an equivalent slenderness ratio was suggested to calculate load-bearing capacity of concrete-filled steel tubular laced column in this paper. The significant differences between compressive and tensile strengths of concrete-filled steel tube were considered. The comparisons between the predicted Nuc and the tested Nue showed that the predicted method gives generally good predictions of the test results.

Abstract: An OpenSees computational platform-based 3-dimentional space RAC finite element model is established for reproducing the seismic response of a 1/4 scaled 6-story, 2-bay and 2-span RAC frame model regular in elevation that was tested on shaking table under a series of one-dimensional base excitations with gradually increasing acceleration amplitudes. The dynamic characteristic parameters of the numerical model, including natural frequencies and vibration modes are captured by performed modal analysis. The acceleration response, the maximum storey displacements and the inter-storey drifts are carefully predicted by performed dynamic time history analysis. Very satisfactory agreement between experimental and analytical results is observed. The numerical simulation verifies that the beam-column element type, the section model, the confined concrete model, the steel material model, and the numerical methods used for the proposed model are reasonable.

Abstract: Focusing on the damage detection using the fractal dimension analysis in plates, this study begins by giving a fractal dimension scanning method for beams. Then extend the algorithm to the plates by degrading the plate mode shape into transverse and longitudinal directions. With the affine transformation, the proposed method overcomes the incapability of identifying damage when using the higher-order mode shapes of the existing fractal dimension methods. Numerical results show that different types of cracks, crack locations and lengths can be detected using this method.

Abstract: In this paper, a four-storey reinforced concrete frame infilled wall structure does not meet the seismic perform target, based on the seismic behavior target of both frame and infilled wall, to carry out the study on the passive control seismic strengthen of RC infilled wall structure with attached dampers. First, two kinds of passive control strengthen schemes were put forward. Scheme 1: Dampers were installed in the in-plane direction parallel with all 1-storey infilled walls; Scheme 2: Dampers were installed in the in-plane direction parallel with all 1-storey and 2-storey infilled walls. Then to establish the two types of passive control seismic strengthen model in OpenSees, carry out the rare earthquake nonlinear time-history analysis under El Centro, Parkfield and San Fenando ground motions. Finally, in accordance with the seismic performance target quantization index of RC Frame infilled wall structure used as hospital, i.e. considering storey drift ratio limit and infilled wall damage, judge the scheme 2 can meets the seismic performance target.

Abstract: Modern structures tend to be more and more complicated, setting up the complete calculation model and getting each part of the dynamic response is almost impossible and unnecessary. The substructure analysis technology is effective for the dynamic analysis of large and complex structure. The substructure theory has become increasingly mature and perfect, and has been widely used in structural analysis and calculation. This article simply introduces the principle of substructure pseudo dynamic test, and using the finite element software—ADINA simulates a steel frame.

Abstract: Mortise-tenon joint is an important characteristic of Chinese ancient timber buildings. Survey on mortise-tenon joint of Chinese timber structures in the last twenty years is summarized and reviewed in five aspects as follows: (1) load transfer mechanism, (2) the relationship of M-θ, (3) the failure characteristics, (4) carrying capacity, and (5) seismic performance. Finally, research on the strengthening of mortise-tenon joints is presented in this paper.
