A Study on Urban and Rural Planning Suited to the Requirements of New Type of Urbanization

Abstract:

A strategy of the new type of urbanization is put forward in the 18th national congress, which points out the direction of urbanization of our country in the future. The core thought of the new type of urbanization is analyzed in this paper as well as discussion on how to meet the requirements of the new type of urbanization in different periods of urban and rural planning from the perspective of regional economy development, the system of cities and towns, the distribution of the city function, the construction of ecological society and the planning of energy.
