Development and Application of CAD/CAE Technology in China Coal Mine Machinery Equipment

Abstract:

This paper briefly reviews the development and application process of the CAD/CAE technology in China coal mine machinery equipment, it is the process of from 2-D drafting to 3-D modeling, from Down-Top the building blocks design to Top-Down the really design process, from the geometry structure to comprehensive properties design; Then it introduces the CAD/CAE application status in the three aspects of interactive conventional design, secondary development professional software and virtual prototyping technology; And it also analyzes the development and application trend in constructing the based project database, building the development platform for dedicated equipments design, and using the collaborative design CAD system
