Brep Model, VOXEL Model, and its Inner Attributes

Abstract:

By using dexelization algorithms, a Brep model is transformed to the three direction DEXEL model and VOXEL model. In the VOXEL model, every VOXEL could have its attributes such as color, or transparence. The attributes of the VOXEL model could be set and the inner attributes of a 3D model could be expressed. The VOXEL model and its inner attributes setting are very important for the design of complex models with complex inner attributes. Under Java2.0 and Java 3D, these algorithms were tested and some design examples were given.
