Functional Analysis of Snowman CAT Standard Edition Translation Software Based on the Normal Distribution and Similarity Model

Abstract:

The snowman CAT is a kind of domestic computer aided translation software, compared with other mainstream snowman CAT software, such as SDL Trados, Deja Vu, Wordfast, memoQ, and YaXin snowman CAT, the learning curve about snowman CAT is not steep, but function has not a halfpenny the worse, in addition to the software its humanized design and easy-to-use properties that make it became the first introduction to snowman CAT teaching software. This paper attempts to functional analysis on snowman CAT 1.29 Chinese-English standard edition in systemic, so as to provide reference to classroom teaching of the computer aided translation.
