Wireless Temperature and Humidity Monitoring System Based on ZigBee

Abstract:

Along with the automation development trend of the agriculture, effective method of temperature and humidity information monitoring system is more and more important. Large scale pattern is the obvious characteristic of modern agriculture. Traditional cable monitoring method is not enough in some points such as maintenance difficulties, complex wiring and power consumption high. Now more and more people resort to wireless methods, we designed a new monitoring system based on ZigBee with CC2530 as the core chip, which consists of three parts: upper computer and a coordinator node and three terminal sensor nodes. This paper described the design of hardware and software process in detail. The method in this paper has proved by the experiment, it has good expansibility, low power consumption and stable performance.
