Hardware Development of Automotive Passive Entry Passive Start System

Abstract:

With the rapid development of modern automotive technology and the peoples increasing requirements, Passive Entry Passive Start System (PEPS) is quickly becoming the main trend and common option on the new auto models. This paper describes the basic function of PEPS system and introduces the hardware architecture of whole PEPS system. Then introduce the hardware solution for main parts in this system such as PEPS ECU, smart key, IMMO and ESCL. At the end, we test and verify the PEPS system based on this hardware architecture which is stable and reliable.
