The Research on a Reactive Allocation Setting Method in Distributed Wind Farm Based on Reducing Generator Loss

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this paper, the reactive power control strategy of distributed wind farm has been researched, a reactive allocation setting method based on reducing generator loss has been has been proposed. First, the doubly-fed wind turbine generator reactive power support capacity and the relation of reactive power to generator loss have been researched, then, aiming at tracking control on overall station level of wind farm reactive power, a single-target multi-constrained optimal allocation of reactive setting method has been proposed, finally, by case study, the effectiveness of this allocation setting method has been verified. Compared with in average allocation setting method, the loss can be decreased 2%, the power generation capacity can be improved, and the method is more effective in large area.
