Article Preview

Abstract:

The paper measures the economic growth contribution rate by population quality in China by dividing the data into 3 epochs and 3 areas. The paper applies two methods and two time intervals to measure the contribution rate. The results show that the economic growth contribution rate by population quality is nearly 10 percents but the contribution rate is decreasing; the contribution rate is the largest in the east and a bit smaller in the central and west, and the number is 13.27 percents, 6.84 percents and 8.40 percents, respectively.
