Abstract:

This paper presents a study of products design and development using virtual modeling system. By means of specific cases, it illustrates the design and development process of products from concepts to entity model, and then to massive production. Besides, it summarizes the advantages of this method, such as the free-expression modeling, lower costs, shorter development cycle, non-information cut-off, environmentally friendliness and so on.
