Product Integrated Innovation Based on Functional Hybridization

Article Preview

Abstract:

Functional hybridization is an effective approach to integrated innovation. Two types of functional hybridization are discussed, which are close hybridization and remote hybridization. Analyze the contradictions existed in the functional hybridization and the approach that solves them. A process model of product integrated innovation based on functional hybridization is proposed and a case study illustrates the innovation process.
