Research on the Evaluation System of Circular Economy Development of Three Gorges Reservoir Region

Abstract:

Having been constructed for the last 17 years, the world-famous Three Gorges Project is expected to complete this year. The article explores the circular competence indicator of establishing industrial system based on the characteristics of ecological economy of Three Gorges Reservoir Region. And the results show that the development of Three Gorges Reservoir Region is at the initial stage of the development of circular economy. The article also constructs an early warning system for the development of circular economy so that decision-making departments can keep on track the development situations of circular economy at any time. Through constructing a reasonable operating mechanism, the development of circular economy will be the significant carrier for achieving sustainable development and enhancing the competitiveness of Three Gorges Reservoir Region. Meanwhile, we should also establish the support and protection system of the circular economy system at all posts. Developing circular economy can resolve the issues of circular system of the industry during the process of development, and achieve the virtuous circle of nature, ecology, economy and society.
