Adaptive Reconstruction of Leak Signal of Natural Gas Pipeline under Strong Interference

Article Preview

Abstract:

Although EMD can implement adaptive separation between leak signal and strong background noise, the IMFs used for leak signal reconstruction always change with the varying frequency components. In this paper, an evaluation criteria for leak signal is defined and a method based on the analysis result of EMD for adaptive reconstruction is presented. The results of signal reconstruction and identifying leak location based on field test show this method is feasible and reliable.
