Statistics and Analysis of Utilization of Paper Books Resources in University Libraries

Abstract:

This study, taking Chongqing University of Science and Technology (CUST) as an example, carries on statistical analysis of utilization of resources in university libraries. Specifically, this study has quantitative statistical analysis of utilization of resources in university libraries from three aspects, including utilization of books, frequency ranking of books and ranking of readers. According to the results of analysis, puts forward three suggestions to improve utilization rate of resources in university libraries. The research provides reliable references for university library management to improve the book collection structure.
