Abstract: The fabrication of self-ordered semiconductor (TiO2) and noble metal (Au) QDs arrays was successfully achieved by advanced nonlithographic template based method, namely using nanoporous alumina template. The emphasis was placed on the successful preparation of QDs arrays with the desired size, homogeneous distribution and optical (especially fluorescence) properties. Titania and gold QDs characterization by SEM, EDX and fluorescence spectroscopy was performed in order to verify their surface topography, chemical composition and emission properties in UV/VIS range of spectra, respectively. The surface biofunctionalization of QDs was realized via simple physical adsorption of glutathione tripeptide, which makes these arrays suitable for potential biosensing application, mainly in optical and electrochemical detection of biomolecules in vitro.

Abstract: The promoting platform of visual producing technology of greenhouse by solar heat in winter uses Windows XP as the operating system platform, IIS as the web server software, C# as the programming language of ASP.NET programs and SQL Server 2005 database technology to implement that the latest research and technology of greenhouse vegetable production by solar heat can be released and promoted in time. The system could solve the conflict that technicians cannot guide users in time and provide users with the service of producing technology instantly.

Abstract: A novel textile-based analytical device with a simultaneous, rapid, sensitive and qualitative response for analyte detection that may have a potential use in different body fluids such as sweat, blood, saliva and urine is proposed in this study as an alternative to its paper-based counterparts. A porous polypropylene spunbond nonwoven was used as base fabric which is superior to paper with higher tear and crinkle resistance, flexibility and wearability.

Abstract: . As Web Services draw modules within and across enterprises, dynamically and belligerently testing Web Services has become crucial. Comprehensive Functional, Concert, Interoperability and Susceptibility Testing form the Pillars of Web Services Testing. Only by adopting a comprehensive testing department, enterprises can safeguard that their Web Services is robust, scalable, interoperable, and secure. Overall functionality of web services would be informal towards test. But, only if we methodically trust the applications components (services) before we combine them to complete the application. In current scenario web service technology comprehends various testing apparatuses for manipulating and generating the test cases. But these tools and approaches were negotiating security and execution time and consume more resources. The existing methodologies will generate test cases for the low end web services and limited number of requests, due to these constraints we built new testing framework. In this paper we introduced the new basis with testing of actions, scripts and link for web services by the use of test cases. For this approach we used SOAP web services with SOA. The test case generation and testing reports will gives the accurate testing results and test cases. These test cases are generated using Java JUnit testing tool. We implemented our approach in a java based platform for efficient and secure manner.

Abstract: A quantitative and sensitive immunochromatographic strip test is developed to detect of melamine in milk products. The strip test based on antigen-antibody (melamine-anti melamine) complex reaction. As label to antibody is used silver nanoparticles to form antibody-silver nanoparticles (AgNP-Ab). The strip test consists of sample pad, conjugated pad (AgNP-Ab), nitrocelloluse membrane, test zone (Ab), and absorbant pad. When melamine is found in the sample, then antibody-melamine-antibody-silver nanoparticles complex was made. Silver nanoparticles have good electrochemical properties. Electrochemical measurement of silver nanoparticles is using anodic stripping voltammetry method. The strip test electrode device is using Ag/AgCl as reference electrode, glassy carbon (GC) as working electrode and platinum (Pt) wire as counter electrode. The quantity of silver nanoparticles is involved in the system is equivalent to the concentration of melamine. Therefore, quantitative detection of melamine could be done using the immunochromatographic strip test.

Abstract: Gait measurement is important in various applications such as monitoring systems for the elderly. This paper presents a gait measurement system applicable to the elderly using a laser range sensor (LRS). An LRS can obtain high accuracy distance data over a wide range and leg position can be calculated based on characteristic leg patterns from the scan data. However, situations in which a leg is hidden from the LRS or both legs are too close together lead to false tracking or losing track of both legs entirely. In the case of the elderly in particular, these situations are likely to occur due to slow movement or narrow stride. To solve these problems, we present a novel leg detection method with five observed leg patterns and global nearest neighbor (GNN)-based data association, using a variable gate based on the state of each leg. Experimental results of several elderly people show that the proposed system can reduce the chances of both false tracking and losing track of both legs, and can acquire the accurate trajectory of both legs.

Abstract: To accurately and rapidly detect single-photons is of the utmost importance for a Chemiluminescence Immunoassay (CLIA) system. An APD-based detection module of single-photons is designed in this paper. By comparison with PMT, APD possesses the advantages of higher detection sensitivity, lower dark current, smaller size, lower power consumption and higher integrity. The designed module can accurately detect single-photons with 22MHz frequency. The experimental results show that the module can be a basis for designing portable CLIA systems.

Abstract: In order to overcome the baseline influence during the XRF spectra analysis, baseline deviation should be corrected. The multi-scale wavelet transform was used to remove the baseline in this paper. It is benefit that 5 decomposition levels should be selected. The whole channel was divided into several intervals. The initial interval width should be set 50. Scale coefficients were corrected according to the minimum value line. Then the scale and wavelet decomposition coefficients were reconstructed. The result shows that this method can remove the baseline effectively, especially for two sections viz. 0-400 and 1380-4095 channel.

Abstract: Power capacitor is one of the key equipments of the high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system. It is also the main noise source difficult to control. Presently in the world, there are none explicit requirement and regulation on the evaluation and measurement of the noise generated by the power capacitor, which has seriously restricted the development of the further research on the noise control in power capacitor. So the research on the noise measurement method and technology has extremely important significance in scientifically evaluating the noise of power capacitor. Power capacitor in HVDC Converter Station under practical conditions has apparent fundamental frequency and rich harmonic frequency components. In order to simulate this condition, a whole condition loaded bridge circuit of noise measurement on power capacitor has been designed and studied. Two arms of the bridge are used to load fundamental frequency and a parallel resonance compensation inductance is used to reduce the fundamental current, while the other two arms are used to load harmonic frequency. The harmonic frequency load power supply composed of harmonic signal generator and power amplifier which can simultaneously load any combination of harmonics under 48th to simulate the various actual working conditions. The tests indicated that the noise spectrum measured under the designed circuit completely accorded with the one in HVDC Converter Station.

Abstract: The process of urbanization, Beijing faces a number of environmental problems. Especially in the last few years, there has been constantly sustained fog and haze, which makes the implementation of electric heating in rural areas gradually on the agenda. After the implementation of electric heating, the irrationality of the regional power grid layout will be further amplified. With the rapid growth of electricity load in the planning area, the requirement of the power supply grid reliability and power quality is also increasing. Therefore, on the basis of power load forecasting in consideration of the the electric heating, and based on the particularity of rural power network, we achieve the Huairou District substation site with the use of improved genetic algorithm. The results can provide reference for the selection of substation of the whole Beijing rural area.
