Abstract:

The enclosure of Tianjin Wudadao District is the object of study. It adopts classical theories summarized by predecessors to deeply explore and analyze the causes, form classification and the positive effects on this area. During protection and development of historical scenic area, it is not just necessary to stress the major object, but also attach importance to the enclosure which can create district atmosphere, enclose courtyard space and enrich street landscape. As an indispensable part, street enclosure is also important.
