Study on Classification of Transport Goods for its Transport Attributes Based on Quantitative Theory III

Abstract:

According to the coupling relationship of goods transport attributes (goods value, transportation forms, transportation batch, volume and weight, transportation distance, transportation risk, container suitability and timeliness) and transport services attributes (transportation costs, time, punctuality, quality, security and frequency ), the transport goods are divided into six categories by Quantitative Theory III: time-sensitive goods, containerized goods, general break-bulk goods, hazardous goods, long and heavy goods , bulk goods. It provides new idea and way to classification of transport goods, which can give reference for other similar researches.
