Abstract: This paper puts forward a new type of wireless data acquisition system design which is based on wireless sensor networks. Using ZigBee short-range wireless communications technology for data transmission, so that the system will not only significantly reduces the amount of equipment, but also makes the system placed flexibly and moves easily. As the whole system-wide monitoring center, FPGA is responsible for getting the data together which is gathered from various nodes in the system and it also controls over the whole system intelligently. The results proved that the system is used simply, and works stably, reliably, fast and efficiently; whats more, it has a broad application prospect.

Abstract: String matching is one of the most typical problems in computer science. Previous studies mainly focused on accurate string matching problem. However, with the rapid development of the computer and Internet as well as the continuously rising of new issues, people find that it has very important theoretical value and practical meaning to research and design efficient approximate string matching algorithms. Approximate string matching is also called string matching that allows errors, which mainly aims to find the pattern string in the text and database and allows k differences between the pattern string and its occurring forms in the text. For the problem of approximate string matching, though a number of algorithms have been proposed, there are fewer studies which focus on large size of alphabet . Most of experts are interested in small or middle size of alphabet . For large size of , especially for Chinese characters and Asian phonetics, there are fewer efficient algorithms. For the above reasons, this paper focuses on the approximate Chinese strings matching problem based on the pinyin input method.

Abstract: This study investigated a two-round linear programming method for optimizing online assignment of harvesting jobs to trans-regional combines. A two-round biding process was constructed to provide the competitive quotations for the two-round linear programming method. There was a 25 percent limitation of price difference in the second bid versus the first one. It was found that using the two-round linear programming method significantly decreased the cost to hire the trans-regional combines for harvesting jobs by 4% compared with one-round biding process. This indicates that there is a possibility of developing a better online optimal algorithm based on a multi-round biding process and suggests that it is possible to determine the optimal change limitation and round number.

Abstract: This paper analyzed the principle of the two-dimensional FFT algorithm, and adopted the time domain extracted base 2D-FFT algorithm and CORDIC to achieve a one-dimensional FFT IP core in Quartus II platform, then used this IP core matrix transposition module to structure 2D-FFT core processing unit desired. In SOPC system, we adopted custom components and IP core packaging technology and adding the integration of the module. Completed the design of SOPC system, which was simulated and downloaded to the development board for verification and the test results were compared to the Matlab operation results. The simulation and test results showed that this design had a simple hardware structure, high throughput, high stability and a good prospect.

Abstract: This paper presents a dual-core floating-point FFT processor. The internal butterfly unit of the processor based on CORDIC algorithm, and uses an iterative computation process instead of two computation process which is the complex multiplication and the evaluation of trigonometric function. The butterfly unit has nothing to do with the external memory size, so it can handle large quantities of data. Based on this unit, the processor uses two logical processing core and pipeline system to improve the throughput and instantaneity. So the design has large scope of input and high-precision operation features. Finally, we make a timing simulation for the Alteras chip of EP2C20F484C6, which can run correctly under the 100MHz system clock.

Abstract: In order to improve the security monitoring management for the elderly, children and employees of enterprises and in consideration of the high market share of Android Phone, so propose the personnel location system based on Android OS. The personnel location system, using a server as data sub-station, achieves showing one Android Phones real-time position and historical route on another. The tests show the personnel location system owns a high locating precision, and provides a new mode for personnel management, which is largely convenient for the manager and guardian. It also provides a kind of method for implementing a location system which is suitable for practical application.

Abstract: With the rapid development of cloud computing, there are many storage structures have been proposed for satisfying cloud-based softwares requirements. Most existing distributed storage systems focus on a certain objective and only provide a certain storage structure. In this paper we present a novel block-level distributed storage system named Flex which integrates storage resource dispersed on the network into a whole one. Flex uses a device mapping framework to create dynamic and flexible storage structures for users. We have implemented the prototype and evaluated its performance; results show that Flex can provide a high performance in diverse storage structures.

Abstract: We proposed an improved mathematical morphology edge detection algorithm, aimed at the significance of car location in car license plate recognition system. The first step is the true color image pre-processing, an improved mathematical morphology edge detection algorithm is used to detect the edge of the car image and after the image binarization, the morphology method is used to fill the image, and then get the candidate area after corrosion expansion after open operation. Then, according to the area of the candidate region than the circumference and vertical projection used in comprehensive analysis, the license plate area can be located accurately. The experimental result shows that the method is an effective anti-noise car plate lisence location algorithm.
