The Moisture of Ceramic Powder and the Importance of Monitoring this Parameter during Drying in the Spray Dryer

Article Preview

Abstract:

The article discusses research drying process of ceramic powder in a spray dryer. The aim was to create a mathematical model of the drying process and the identification of parameters affecting drying. Mathematical model was used to create balance equation, from which it was expressed parameter - the mensural moisture of granulate u2. Monitored parameter was the absolute moisture of drying gas outputs the kiln Y2. Based on the measured and calculated values was created graph of the dependence Absolute moisture of drying gas outputs of the kiln on Mensural moisture of material outputs of the kiln.
