Frication and Abrasion Resistance of a Non-Woven Filter Material

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this paper, the warp friction and abrasion resistance of non-woven filter materials with different process parameters under different loads (10cN/cm2, 30cN/cm2, 50cN/cm2) were investigated. The results showed that the dynamic and static friction factors of non-woven filter materials under the load of 30cN/cm2 were the biggest. While the dynamic and static friction factors of non-woven filter materials under the load of 50cN/cm2 were the smallest. In addition, it was found that needling density was one of the key factors to influence the friction and abrasion resistance of a non-woven filter material.
