Research and Implementation of a Synchronous-Exposed Method of Multiple CMOS Image Sensors

Article Preview

Abstract:

To the question of deficient precision of multiple CMOS image sensors exposed synchronously,a parameter-configured scheme is presented. With their serial interfaces, Micron’s 1/2 inch 3-megapixel CMOS digital image sensors are programmed and used. The parameter-configured scheme gets a synchronous precision in a time scale of microseconds. This precision is 29 times faster than that of the system design requirements. FPGA simulation and Signal TapII test results are demonstrated. Finally, the application result of the parameter-configured scheme is given.
