Abstract:

Enterprise Information System (EIS) platform for electric equipment enterprise is presented in the paper. It is a comprehensive application platform, inclusive of CAX/PDM/ERP, and centered around PDM and ERP, which take main responsibilities. PDM is the basis of the information platform, and is responsible for integration of information from design and technology, and provides element product data for ERP. ERP is responsible for preliminary management information input, and material flow, and finance flow. PDM and ERP exchange information of database via an interface. Based on the J2EE platform, the EIS prototype is built. In the process of implementation of EIS, functionality module is constructed gradually. As an application demonstration, EIS for electric equipment enterprise is built in a very short time, and a distinct achievement is realized.
