Study on the Wind-Induced Control of Tensile Membrane Structure

Article Preview

Abstract:

For the membrane structure, wind is the main control load which causes its failure dramatically. In this paper the discretized triangle elements of membrane structure is presented to analyze the wind vibration by using software ANSYS. According to the wind response, the control model based on shape memory alloy spring is put forward to diminish the wind effect on the sensibility of structure. The results indicated that the proposed model is feasible.
