Analysis on the Heating Form of the Resident Architecture Sites of Bohai State

Abstract:

In the late seventh century and the early 10th century, Bohai state was the local national government in northeastern China. The geographical location where it was in state was belonging to the continental monsoon climate, and there was so long and cold winter weather. So, it was particularly important to protect winter and keep warm for buildings. Through analytical researching the site of heated kang in some Parhae architectural sites, this paper is with the help of theoretical knowledge related to the architectural archaeology to interpret the heating form of residential architecture in Parhae State from one side.
