The Comparison in the Development of Garden Waterscape in the East and West Country

Abstract:

As a factor of landscape design, the waterscape plays key roles in the landscape from the ancient times till nowadays.Today the garden design development has been popularization. The design concepts of the east and the west has also compromised gradually, in this special times, the studies on the development of garden waterscape in the east and the west have epoch making significance. Studying from the patterns and the engineering techniques of the garden waterscape, We summarize several common types of waterscape in gardens and compare the corresponding types in the east and west countries.
