Abstract:

Considering the tools, technologies and channels are driving significant change in customer behavior, the paper focus on how destinations are currently using them. Then the paper discusses the key challenges facing destination branding – content, socialization, integration, and measurement. At last, the paper considers what this means for destination brands, the DMO website and digital marketing strategy.
