Study on Simulation of Aircraft Background Magnetic Field

Article Preview

Abstract:

The background magnetic field compensation is necessary to ensure the aeromagnetic survey accuracy, and verifying the accuracy of compensation needs a lot of flight data. However taking a flight test is not only expensive, but also needs to combine multiple departments, which is a difficult thing. To resolve this problem, the background magnetic field data of aircraft maneuvering flight is simulated, analyzing the effect of aircraft maneuver attitude and geomagnetic spatial gradient. the simulated data and the measured data are similar in form. so it can be used to verify the compensation of aircraft background magnetic field.
