Research on Limit-Trajectory Over-Modulation Strategy of Two Stage Matrix Converter

Article Preview

Abstract:

Aim at solving the problem is poor quality of waveforms and that of complicated modulation strategy in two stage matrix converter. The method is that Limit-Trajectory over-modulation strategy is adopted in inverter to ensure linear modulation in all over-modulation regions and space vector pulse width modulation is adopted in rectifier. This simpler control algorithm reduces memory space and linear calculation is instead of look-up table. Simulation show that the voltage transfer ratio can be improved from 0.866 to 0.95 and the quality of output waveforms is greatly enhanced.
