Abstract:

In practical applications of Beer-Lambert’s law, the measurements are often affected by temperature and air pressure, according to which, this paper is intended to design a test chamber of which the temperature and air pressure are adjustable in order to provide the necessary environmental conditions for the detection of non-dispersive infrared gas. The analog signals of temperature and air pressure will be converted into digital signals by A/D converter after having been detected by the sensor, then the digital signals will be transmitted back to the MCU. After comparing with the preset values, the digital signals begin to control the MCU of temperature and air pressure and are finally displayed on the LCD screen. After the test, the expected goal can be achieved through this. The temperature can be ranged from 5 to 50°C and pressure 80 to 120Kpa, basically can meet the requirements of the study of non-dispersive IR gas detection.
