Watch the Performance of Traffic Rules from a Microscopic Perspective

Article Preview

Abstract:

We address the performance of traffic rule associated with the traffic flow and the safety. We consider several models in hopes of evaluating the performance of different traffic rules. We improve the cellular automata NaSchmodel through adding some basic rules such as overtaking and collision, We quantity several uncertainties during driving, such as the distance between ehicles estimated by drivers. Our simulation can be applied to other traffic rules with a simple change of parameters.
