Analysis on the Setting of Modeling and Detecting Parameters of GEO Orbit Satellite Camera

Article Preview

Abstract:

Analysis on the detecting parameters of GEO orbit satellite camera is of great significance in the design process of satellite camera, to some extent; it determines the parameters required for achieving the expected performance. This article introduced the parameter setting methods of GEO orbit satellite under different working conditions, which are commonly used in engineering; and it analyzed the influence of the setting of GEO orbit satellite camera’s detecting parameter on the performance of the final image under different solar illumination angles, times and seasons. And it also performed simulated analysis on the imaging process under the aerosol model using MODTRAN and MATLAB in different seasons at daytime without clouds in rural area of middle latitude, so as to calculate and simulate the signal-to-noise ratio change of the energy received by the camera in different regions, seasons and time frames, which has a guiding significance on the camera design process.
