The Research and Application of Crude Oil Fingerprint Technology to Exploration and Development Integration

Article Preview

Abstract:

As layering trail production is regularly used in monitoring of oil-producing profile during oil exploration and development, stratification testing is applied using downhole tools, which is characterized by high cost and poor randomness. To address this issue, a study into crude oil fingerprint-chromatogram monitoring oil-producing profile is carried out with various advantages such as low cost, continuous, rapid and accurate analysis, as well as good reproducibility and reliability. This program has worked out the difference between chromatographic fingerprint analysis method and characteristic fingerprint peak, completed the construction of chromatographic fingerprint database platform, and developed a software of chromatographic fingerprint computing oil-producing profile.
