Modelling of Welded Joint Geometry in Sheet Metal Welding

Article Preview

Abstract:

The article considers adapted dependence of weld sizes on weld dimensions and impulse electrode wire feed parameters in sheet metal welding. Comparative analysis of test and calculated data for a weld size showed the model adequacy. Further on they were used for developing a computer application “Calculation of sheet metal weld dimensions” which allows to predict the form of a weld in impulse wire feed welding.
