The paper discusses the ergonomics problems about eye height, operating handles, bottoms etc. in machine tool design. Points out the misapprehension of human body average dimension, gives some constructive design data according to different human body dimension percentage to design different operating elements. It can be the reference for designers in machine tool industrial.
