Research on Color Reproduction on the Internet Based on Profile Embedding

Abstract:

People put forward higher requirements for color consistency in color images network transmission at this stage. Aim to the problem of poor color reproduction in color image network transmission, in this paper, based on the analysis of a variety of commonly used Web browser color management model, digital image device profiles are embedded to images are compared and analyzed. The effect of color reproduction that digital images are displayed at monitor and mobile device is measured. Color difference and color gamut are measured before and after embedded profile. A more comprehensive solution that ensure color consistency in the network is proposed through quantitative measurement and subjective evaluation. The experiment result show that the management model that embedded profile has a good compatibility. A true network color management is realized.
