Design of Fault Diagnosis Instrument of a Certain Type Laser Range Finder

Abstract:

After analyzing the circuit features, generalizing the typical faults, and combining the experience of maintenance, a design of fault diagnosis instrument based on the fault dictionary method was proposed to solve the problem of the complex and difficult maintenance tasks in troops of a certain type laser range finder. First, fault subsets were sorted out by circuit function. Second, the signals for detecting the circuits were generated by MCU and the key points were tested. Last, fault dictionary was written according to the fault phenomena and test results. The tryout result indicates that the fault diagnosis instrument can rapidly diagnose the function of the laser range finder and its circuits, and remarkably improve the efficiency of equipment maintenance.
